Osteoporosis is a metabolic skeletal disease that increases bone fragility and fracture risk. As the average life expectancy in humans increases, systemic diseases have increased the frequency of osteoporosis development. However, with timely and appropriate interventions, it is possible to slow down the progression of the disease and reduce the need for complicated surgical treatment. The management for patients with osteoporotic spine fractures and comorbidities will be reviewed in this article.
