Spondylolisthesis is anterior or posterior shift according to the vertebrae to which a vertebrate is associated. It presents as a broad clinical spectrum ranging from simple mechanical low back pain to leg pain, neurogenic intermittent claudication, progressive neurological deficit and radiological findings. Its prevalence in adults is between 6-11.5% and the male/female ratio: 2. On physical examination, most adult patients have no findings. The diagnosis of spondylolisthesis is almost always made by direct radiographs. Other radiological diagnostic methods such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Computerized Single Photon Emission Tomography (SPECT), as well as bone scintigraphy are used in diagnosis or follow-up. In this review; we aimed to review the current literature on the etiology, diagnosis, clinical features and radiological imaging of spondylolisthesis.
